I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Amherst College in Massachusetts. Previously I was a John Wesley Young Research Instructor at Dartmouth College, NH. Before that, I held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil.
I completed my Ph.D. in 2017 at the University of Otago in New Zealand and was advised by Astrid an Huef and Lisa Clark. The title of my thesis is:
The structure of GCR and CCR groupoid C*-algebras.
My research interests are in operator algebras, with a particular focus on the representation theory of groupoid C*-algebras and algebras associated with labeled graphs.
I take pride in my teaching. I believe that education can transform lives. It is our most powerful weapon against poverty and social injustice.
